Over the past week, Google have been rolling out a new Ad Extension called AdWords Price Extensions. This new feature let’s advertisers display product or service prices on mobile text ads.
Price Extensions are displayed on multiple rows underneath your Ad Text and provide valuable information to potential customers.
Price Extensions can also be triggered in addition to other Ad Extensions such as Call Extensions, making this new feature perfect for driving more click to call ads.
You can manage Price Extensions from the Ad Extensions tab on an account, campaign and ad group level. For special promotions and sale periods, you can also use start and end dates to ensure your prices remain accurate.
It’s unclear whether we will be given the ability to manage Price Extensions in a similar way to how we manage price points in Ad Text, via Price Parameters. But that would certainly be a welcome addition in the future.
